Since it first appeared on this planet, humans are constantly creating new ways to organize and improve
scale cooperation with more effective structures, from nuclear and tribal families to states,
companies, and the global economy. The most advanced organization so far, the Internet, opens the door
for the exchange of real-time information on a world scale, but lacks economic means for public purposes
coordination and global production partners. The Blockchain makes this possible by providing reliable, open and
programmed accounting systems, consequently leading to the discovery of Decentralized Autonomy
Organization (DAO).
DAO is an open, self-managed collective coordinated by economic incentives and self-executing code,
work together around common goals. Supported by network effects, DAO provides money models and incentives
for open production, shareable resources (such as open source code and music files). With creations
more open resources, DAO will be able to scale indefinitely while maintaining itsagility and coherence, and within
many cases are beating the existing corporate structure. DAO has attracted the top talents in the blockchain room,
holds a promise for a more efficient and tough organization. Nonetheless, they have no essential elements to
successfully deployed so far, and in particular decentralized decentralized governance systems.
DAO: The Future of the OrganizationThe ability to organize and coordinate large numbers of individuals is one of the greatest strengths (and

Arc is an evolutionary framework for measurable governance
ADAPTIVE
Arc supports unlimited elements of governance. The schema literature and its global constraints will evolve as the DAOstack ecosystem grows, with new templates and modules being developed and added by open source and third-party development communities.
MODULAR
Each DAO governance structure is created from small building blocks - governance modules, or elements - that can be easily added, merged, edited, or deleted. Modules do not need to be moved to blockchain, but only referred to, save storage and operating costs and improve security.
CAN BE CHANGED
The governance structure of each DAO can be easily upgraded to use new schemes and constraints, or parameters that differ from existing ones. More detailed, every DAO created through the Arc comes with a set of specific rules, which by default include rules to change the rules.

GEN is the original token of the DAOstack platform. Basic operations in the DAOstack ecosystem - such as promoting proposals - will require GEN expenditure or storage.
